Corded Curtain Tracks

On the other hand, corded curtain tracks come with a side pull cord for easy opening and closing. This option proves particularly beneficial when:

- Your curtains are placed behind furniture or a sofa, making manual drawing a bit tricky. A corded track allows you to operate them effortlessly.

- Your curtains cover tall windows or a window over stairs. In such cases, pulling the curtains by hand might be challenging, and a corded operation provides a practical solution.

- Your curtains are made of delicate fabrics like silk or lightly coloured materials. The corded operation helps to extend the life of your curtains by minimizing fabric contact during use.

 

Important Considerations for Corded Tracks

For straight tracks exceeding 4m or bent tracks over 3m, we recommend corded options on both sides. Keep in mind that tracks corded on both sides are suitable for a pair of curtains only, as they come in two pieces with an intermediate pulley housing system in the middle to join the tracks.
