Bay Windows

Bay windows fill your home with light and give you more space, but they’re a little more complicated than your standard flat design. If you’ve got a bay window, the thought of measuring it can be pretty daunting: all those angles and curves make it look complicated. Once you have the right tools, though, it’s actually quite simple. You just need to know which parts to measure.

Bay windows can be a fantastic focal point for your house, both inside and out. All that natural light does wonders for your mood and the bay is a great place to put dressing tables, office desks and window seats. The only downside is that you have some tough decisions to make about your curtains. Should you go for a bespoke curtain pole, or get something from a store for some DIY installation?

Over the past five years we have seen a large increase in the number of eyelet curtains that we are making.  Eyelet curtains are a heading style that involves the pole going through rings that are punched top of the curtain.  These are very modern and very attractive but are not totally practical for all situations.

Now that I have got the “don’t buy DIY” thing off my chest I should really start giving guidance on what products are good for your window.
